Peron Alliance of Curriculum and Teaching
Safety Bay Senior High School is a foundation and leading member of the Peron Alliance of Curriculum and Teaching, PACT. PACT is an outstanding collaboration of seven individual public secondary schools in the Rockingham and Kwinana region.
PACT offers senior students the opportunity to achieve excellent outcomes, participate in innovative educational environments and have curriculum choice at the school which best meets their learning needs. Principles of opportunity and excellence drive the values beliefs and aspirations that underpin decision making within PACT.
In 2013 Safety Bay Senior High School is running Mathematics Specialist, Politics & Law and Outdoor Recreation Certificate II for students from other PACT schools. Safety Bay Senior High School students are attending Biological Sciences, Engineering Studies, Modern History, Physical Education Studies and Physics at other schools in the PACT collaboration.
The breadth of opportunity PACT offers to students throughout the Rockingham and Kwinana region, and the achievement of excellence has become established practise through out PACT. The extraordinary capacity of PACT to address the principles of opportunity and excellence for students has been recognised by the award of Innovative School of the Year for 2010 by the Department of Education and Training.
